Episode 7: Boundaries in the Workplace with Cassandra Hager

Every six to eight weeks Cassandra Hager covers my roots and we cover humans hottest topics. These range from how long we think the marriage between Prince Harry and Meghan will last to why it’s hard for people to communicate what they really feel. (Yes…a very very wide net of topics.)

This week on The Lauren Rainey Tenney Show we are talking boundaries and work. Because there is literally no one that has to draw that line more than Cassandra Hager. Cassandra owns her own salon and a LOT of her clients are her friends too. That could get dicey but when you learn the biblical foundational tools of boundaries, it isn’t scary, weird, or hard to put those in place. We talk about how to do it and how important it is for a smooth working relationship with co-workers, business partners, and bosses.

I would love to know your thoughts on the show. DM me!

Start small. I can relate to my profession as someone who’s self employed with business hours. If it’s after 5 or 6, don’t answer texts, phone calls. Start establishing that with your clients. And you probably will have a few people that violate that, but it’s not an offense to them, it’s that I have certain parameters in my life where I spend time with my family and my business is separate. And I think that’s ok. I think it’s gonna be hard, but the more you practice it, it’s gonna become permanent.
